For a healthy woman and man with no fertility issues, it is not hard until sometime after the age of about 36 or 37. As you get closer to 40, that is when fertility goes downward swiftly.
There shouldn't be hardly any difference between trying to conceive at the age of 27 vs the age of 33.
My mother had me at 35 with no medical assistance for fertility. My husband comes from a large family and four of his siblings were born when their mother was over the age of 30. My older sister had three children after the age of 30. I know many people who have had children after 30. (a few of which were unplanned accidents.)

Yes, I needed an IUI to conceive my son at 32. But we had both male and female factor infertility, and my struggles are likely at least in part to be due to having an eating disorder when I was younger.

yes, once that counter ticks over from 29 to 30 your ovaries immediately shrivel and you grow chest hair.
