Question for my fellow Christian Do you realize that Christ was not always "nice" to people and that he sometimes insulted them,?

ridiculed them, and criticized them? So why are you so afraid to insult, ridicule, and criticize the atheists on this site? Do you think being "nice" and "polite" to them is somehow going to win them over? Convince them to suddenly make a leap of faith to Christianity? Come on. Be realistic.

    He told the truth.

Insulting for the sake of insulting is wrong (Yeah I know...who are you talking to hypocrite)

But sometimes the truth hurts. And sometimes He was harsh to garner peoples attention, and not always the people he was addressing (such as the pharisees) but to the people standing by listening

Well being a douche in general certainly won't help any atheist "to suddenly make a leap of faith to Christianity" that's for sure. Given the lack of evidence...one of the BEST things that christians can do to show that they're truly different and changed by their god is to demonstrate that to others. If you are constantly insulting and tearing others down, atheist or not, then you are demonstrating that you are not changed. Doesn't your bible talk about a good tree bearing good fruit and how, as a christian and representative of christ, you're supposed to bear good fruit? Doing what you do is bad fruit and will only serve to turn people AWAY from your religion and god.

Christ was tough on sin, full of Grace AND truth. But always remember that he led them to repentance always. There is sin, but there is also forgiveness for sin and healing through him. Make sure when you speak the truth you also speak grace and speak it in love. Balance is the key to anything in life.

Our Lord spoke the truth in love always wanting people to change and repent and turn to God

Not sure what you mean by insult. Christ did not assault the money changers. He made a whip and drove out the animals themselves (knowing the money changers would go after them to prevent any economic loss). He did not assault the money changers. You are inferring a physical assault from an account that gives no basis for such.

As for what he called the scribes and Pharisees, he did not insult them so much as he called them exactly what they were: liars and hypocrites. If someone is lying and you call them a liar, that is not an insult. Moreover, Christ could do something none of us can do: read hearts. Jesus was firm and harsh with the scribes and Pharisees because of the position they abused and the way they neglected the very ones they were supposed to be shepherding.
