And by that, I mean books where the main character is a villain protagonist with delusions of grandeur.
And, preferably, I'd like the protagonist to get what's coming to him/her in the end, like what happened to the the deuteragonist of The Bible.

the bible is a science fiction book, so other books like it include the lord of the rings or harry potter
