Do liberals Hate Coca-Cola?

It was developed by a former Lt. Colonel in the Confederate Army. Surely it must be destroyed...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Pemberton

Update:

Cocaine was removed from Coke in 1903. 7UP once contained lithium, it was marketed as the opposite of Coke.

Update 2:

Coca cola also owns other food companies: Minute Maid(evil, of course) is an example. Pepsi, of course, changed their logo, to mimic Obama's logo because their CEO is a lefty .

I'd hate that it's giving middle America diabetes, but it goes good with whiskey.

No Confederates currently own or run Coca-Cola. In fact, if Coke wants to erect a statue of him on their property as company founder, that's fine with me. I'm a liberal and love Coca-Cola, but am trying to stay away for health reasons.

I'm assuming that you are referring to the statues of Confederate traitors that were taken down in Louisians.

These are statues honoring men who were traitors to the United States, whether because they felt that their state was more important than their country, they believed in slavery, or both. It might be ok to forgive them, but not to honor them for their treason. If private citizens or privately funded museums want to buy these statues at fair market value and display them on their property, that's fine with me. But they don't belong on government property and shouldn't be maintained by the government.

The people who say we are trying to whitewash history are completely wrong. These men are a part of history, and no one is saying they should not be talked about. But they were traitors, they were the enemy, and they should not be honored with statues or memorials. Those should be reserved for people who did something positive. Do you think that the Lincoln Memorial would have ever been built if the South won the war?

btw, Pepsi is the official soft drink of Satan. They drank it in the former Soviet Union and also in South Africa during apartheid

    1. I don't drink soda.

    2. Pemberton is long dead, so he's not an issue with me.

    3. There's a reason it's COCA cola, you know. That's where, when Pemberton invented it, its big boost came from.

I personally do, I think all soft drinks taste awful regardless of who developed them.
