Is "Have a nice day" a stupid phrase?

That has to be one of the most obnoxious, stupid, gangsta phrase I've ever heard. "Good night" is almost up there. LOL

I prefer someone saying "I love you" when greeting me off to school

Wouldn't be surprised if some "bro"-hating, hence anti-Italian, black person invented that phrase lol

Shallow phrase.

It's an insult to those striving greatness and to the modest alike

    Not as stupid as "Take care"

    To me,saying take care to someone Implies that you wouldn't already be taking care In the first place,whereas saying have a nice day Is just like you're wishing a person well for the day ahead.
