Whats wrong with Madden 16 servers?

I keep getting an error message that reads "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the main menu." It's been about a week and EA clearly hasn't done a damn thing to fix the problem.

Does anybody know of a website where I can check on the status of the problem and if it's going to be solved anytime soon?
