The fact of the matter, someone that loves the things of the world, and thinks that all he or she has to do is be good enough and the Lord Jesus Christ will save them, that is not how God works, that is like the scribes and the Pharisees of the Lord Jesus Christ day, who thought that they were doing the will of God by killing the Lord Jesus Christ, and they thought by keeping the law of God, that they would enter the kingdom of heaven, but the only thing the law of God does is it condemns a man to eternal death: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
