    People keep saying that and I keep trying it every few years..

    It still sucks for anything serious when compared to Centos / Fedora / Redhat etc.

    Compared to what? While Ubuntu is good it is unstable compared to Debian or a properly configured FreeBSD system. With that said the fact of the matter is that normal consumer could care less about Linux on their desktops so it's left mostly for developers and server admins with a relatively very small community of enthusiasts and hobbyists.

    It rules except there is no easy way to get the audio fully working on my laptop that has Beats Audio.

    I like Linux mint better but it is still Ubuntu under the hood! So is Android lollipop!

    Most people don't even know their smart phone and tablet is Linux!
