Is ListenToYoutube.com safe?
When I click on the download buttons, they always give me pop-up tabs with scams. Lately my computer had been virus-infested so I had to do a factory reset so I'm wondering if this website could have contributed to it at all.
I use Chrome and Adblocker. Tried it on another computer and immediately after when I click on blank space, random scam ads start popping up which it has never before done, which is exactly what happened to my other computer. My advice: avoid the website. It's not safe.

I use it sometimes, and I don't get those popups or any ads. I use Firefox with the uMatrix extension. When I visit a site like that, I do so in a sandboxed browsing session. My guess is ListenToYoutube isn't malicious*, but I don't take chances.
*But even a non-malicious site, one without malicious scripts, can be a host to malicious ads. Ads alone can infect your machine, I think even if you don't click on them (but either way, you could still accidentally click on one). This has happened to popular, mainstream, legal sites. That's why it's critical to use some kind of adblocker these days. I use uMatrix, but uBlock Origin is also good.

NO. ALL resources that give out COPYRIGHTED material for FREE but do so WITHOUT permission from the copyright owners are equally ILLEGAL and HAZARDOUS.
