How does a baby registry works?

I downloaded the target baby registry I just got a thing in the mail from target for 20$ gift card my boyfriend got the same thing

I was confused on how to post my registry online for everybody too see I'm confused on how it works

    A baby registry is for use when a woman is being given a baby shower - so that people can have an idea of what gifts she would like to receive. If you post a baby registry and you are not being given a baby shower, it's nothing more than a gift grab on your part. You are basically saying to everyone: "Hey!. I'm going to have a baby. Send me some gifts"!

    Go to the customer service counter and an associate will help you.

    Go to your closest Target store. Go to customer service. Explain your issue. They should be able to help you.

    Accept what is givin to you instead your acting like a owes you that **** and being a fool for 20 dollers
