How much alcohol is fermented after primary fermentation for wine?

    More information is needed to answer this question. First you need to know what amount of grapes (sugars) you are starting with and the type of yeast used. Then you can get a general idea of how strong the wine will be post fermentation based on typical attenuation for that strain of yeast.

    You will be at least to 90% of final proof, barring additions of fermentables. Secondary will slowly finish the rest.
