Someone who is giving you poor advice, encouraging you to do bad things like binge drink, use drugs, date the wrong kind of person. Someone who uses you when they need you but are nowhere to be found when you need them. Someone who disrespects you by talking to a person who has intentionally hurt or betrayed you, etc.

What are the signs of a good best friend? Someone who encourages you, stands up for you, is loyal to you and makes you feel confident in yourself and them. A bad best friend would be the opposite of that.
