the Constitution provides for there being one and only one.
Did you wish to ignore the Constitution?
If you decide you can do that, can we then ignore the constitutional protects you no longer have?

I've often thought it would be interesting if we had two Presidents. One to handle Defense and Foreign Affairs and another to handle domestic issues. Split the duties up to make each easier to handle.
