Volvo S60 D5 limp mode problem?
So my Volvo S60 d5 keeps becoming sluggish. It happens when I put my foot down and the turbo tries to kick in but doesn't. I get an engine service notice and the exhaust sounds more boggy. When engine is turned of then back on problem goes for a while. My volvo has been remapped if that makes any difference. I've done few searches and could possibly be turbo control valve and possibly dirty egr valve. Any thoughts on this? Cheers guys

The vehicle will go into limp mode and you'll only have 3rd and reverse gears if one of the tranny sensors goes bad. Go to the dealer and have them scan for transmission codes. OBD II code readers don't work. If you go to a transmission shop they like to just sell you a rebuilt transmission!
