Hi, I have recently noticed a clicking sound when turning the steering wheel on my ST. It only really clicks when steering wheel is centred. I have jacked the front end up and once done the noise goes, suggesting its links to a load bearing problem. There is no play in steering wheel and suspension seems fine. A mechanic has suggested steering rack problem but I was just wondering if anyone out there with this model or any other car has come across anything similar? Before I take this into Ford and fork out a fortune. Any ideas would be grateful. Cheers

Recently have no power to my washer pump, I have checked power at fuse and nothing. I have changed fuse and still nothing. Starting to think it’s a wiring problem :( just wondering if anyone knew or had anything similar?

Car is Volvo S60 D5 2005.

Would prefer an easy fix.

Just wondering if anyone knows the standard ride height for Volvo S60 MK1 2005. Cannot seem to find spec anywhere. I currently have lowering springs on and wanting to change them as they are worn, however I’m unsure as to what mm lowering springs to buy. Car currently sits 13” from centre of wheel to arch on rear and 13.5” on front, so wanting something similar to this as it looks nice at this height. Thanks guys.

So my Volvo S60 d5 keeps becoming sluggish. It happens when I put my foot down and the turbo tries to kick in but doesn't. I get an engine service notice and the exhaust sounds more boggy. When engine is turned of then back on problem goes for a while. My volvo has been remapped if that makes any difference. I've done few searches and could possibly be turbo control valve and possibly dirty egr valve. Any thoughts on this? Cheers guys

So I've bought a Volvo S60 d5 which is a great car. I currently have the stock air filter in which I'm made to believe is very good, however I want to know if installing an cold feed induction kit will be beneficial? As I believe cold air is more dense and combusts better, however with regards to my volvo been a diesel would this not matter as glow plugs assist with warming up mixture to help with combustion?? It may seem like a stupid question but it would make sense right?

Hello people, just a question about my Renault Megane 1.6 16v petrol. I have noticed oil mixing with my coolant, leaving a brown creamy substance layering the top and cap of coolant. Also I have removed all my spark plugs and plugs 1&3 are oil fouled, on the tip and in the wells. And finally my lambda sensor is flagging up my engine warning light, I know this because I used an obd reader to check problem. I just wanted to ask peoples opinions on wether this is most likely the head gasket. I would think it is but I don't seem to have overheating or smoke in exhaust. Any input would be much appreciated.

I've recently purchased a Renault Megane hatchback 05 plate and seem to have a problem with the clutch. Firstly when I'm going up in gears and depress the clutch to change gear the revs strike up, secondly the clutch height is very high, this position doesn't allow me to hold a biting point on an incline, the car will simply stall if I don't give it some revs. Just wondering if anyone knows if the clutch clearance may need adjusting or possibly anything else? Hey, I sent a watch through Royal Mail 2nd class signed for and when the buyer recieved it apparently it's been stolen and all that he's got is the box. The sale was through eBay and payment protected by PAYPAL so I might have to refund. I have receipt that states item was sent and shows weight of package, which is considerably heavier than an empty box. Just wondering what action people would take if this happened to them? Hey, I'm having problems with my Yamaha ybr 125. I constantly had a really bad slamming/slipping on gears or clutch, so I changed the oil and it eased it off. Now for some reason it only slips when the bike becomes hot. On short journeys when engine is cold it is fine. I am using 10-40w semi sythnetic putaline oil as recommended. I am more than certain it's something oil related. Any ideas would be helpful. Cheers in advance

Hey, I ve just changed my entire ybr engine because of leaking and clutch problems. Was cheaper just to replace. Anyway I ve mounted it in all tight and connected the electricals up fine but for some reason when I turn her over she revs ridiculously high and some smoke came out from near the engine. Also the neutral indicator isn t working either and the kickstart won t turn her over as well. Any suggestions would be great? Much appreciated guys
