Boss being bully or what?
My bf works in the lab at a hospital. His boss told them they had to do an online class last thursday 6/1/17 half of his workmates are done and had their access on the website but him! He never got the password or whatever access to get on it. Then his boss texts him that it s due tomorrow 6/5/17 if my bf does not finish by tomorrow he won t be able to work or he has to pay to take the class.(According to her its the organization where they get license that asks for them to take it and not the company, and she also said that it is not her responsibility that he can t have access on it while everyone got theirs so now either he s gonna pay to take the class or not be able to work!). What do you guys think? Should he have HR be involve with this situation?
I mean its not really fair that everyone got their access on the website. Up until now he hasn t recieved the link to it.

I would have asked my boss for the password IMMEDIATELY after realizing I dont have access. If your boyfriend didn't do that, then he's has nobody to blame but himself.

It depends. Were I in his shoes, I would have been hounding my boss for access within hours after realizing I didn't get access. I would also have proof of contacting my boss and requesting it..
If he waited til the boss contacted him, the day before the class was due, that's on him.
