I talk from a western view point here as I´m not from the US, but I think we should certainly stop anymore mass immigration and only allow immigrants in that would benefit our society, such as surgeons or scientists, for example, after increased background checks. Saudi should be forced to take responsibility in regards to refugees.

In relation to travel it becomes awkward as we saw when Trump implemented this policy when he first became President. Many people were stranded in various parts of the world who were not even practising Muslims, but just happened to have a passport from the countries listed on the ban, and there were many different examples of how he clearly didn´t think this policy through before implementing it.

However, if the attacks continue we will have no choice but to implement some extremely draconian measures.

Because we live in Western countries that have freedoms - including the freedom of religion. Anyone against that should not be living in the West.
