    No. By the definition of the word "accident" in any context, accidents "just happen", often because of carelessness by somebody. No deliberate act is an accident.

    It better be, because you would have to be crazy to admit you did it on purpose. Technically, it would be a

    man-induced bang up, but people will still call it an accident for convenience, making it a misnomer.

    No it would not be an accident if the driver caused the incident on purpose for what ever reason

    But that would have to be proven.
