Is this depression? What is this?
Well, I'm never motivated to do anything other than games, music, and the occasional times me and my brother leave during a weekend to see a movie. Im 21. But i have no friends ans haven't hung out with anyone in over 2 years. I stay home most days and have no desire to leave or do anything spectacular even though i would love to travel to different countries to visit i don't feelvi would even have the energy to that. Im exhausted from the moment i wake up. Im anxious often. I stay up usually to 2 or 3am and wake up at 7am like clockwork for no other reason than because. My mom has asked me wouldn't i ever want a great job that pays well so i can have my own money a feel good about myself, but honestly i have no desires for that or for anything. I have no aspirations. I like video games but don't have the talent for it. So i don't see the point in doing anything and would rather be in a coma than have to worry about what to do next. Even video games seem like a hassle more than fun. Watching tv is a hassle. Everything is a hassle.

It definitely sounds like depression to me, but I m not a professional. If you want a proper opinion on how accurate your suspicion is, I would definitely talk to a doctor about it.

No. It's not depression. It's laziness. You have first world "mamma's boy" syndrome. It can be cured.
Want a cure?
Sell your video games. Sell your music. Sell your television. Seriously.
Get rid of it all.
Get a dog. Walk your dog one hour every day, rain or shine.....do that one thing whether you like it or not. You willl feel a sense of accomplishment from doing that one thing. Power walk it.
Get an Audible.com account and listen to positive (non-fiction) audio books while walking the dog. Books on motivation, goal setting, entrepreneurship, etc., would be the best.
Yes, you have no desire for anything right now. That's because you have allowed your standards to fall. Truth be told, if someone handed you a few million bucks, you'd find lots of things to do.
Get off your butt and do it.

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you ve been feeling down for a long time and it hasn t been getting any better. The symptoms that you describe sound a lot like depression, but only a licensed mental health provider or doctor can officially diagnose you.
Consider seeing your family doctor to talk about the symptoms you described (no motivation, constant exhaustion, etc). He or she may want you to see a counselor or psychiatrist for ongoing treatment.
If you need additional assistance, consider contacting a crisis hotline, where a counselor can listen, provide support, and offer referrals to counselors in your community, if you re interested.
Take care!

Unfortunately, nobody on yahoo answers can diagnose you -- only a mental health professional can do that in a face to face meeting.
Call your county's social services office or mental health office and ask for referrals to low-cost and free counseling and groups in your area.
You have to make yourself get up and out of the house.
