Why was General Grievous' fight with Obi-Wan in ROTS so boring?
I remember watching the old Clone Wars cartoon in secondary school. And when General Grievous first showed himself on Hypori, he and his droid army decimated the Republic there and he killed many Jedi. And if it weren't for the timely rescue of the ARC troopers well Jedi Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti and Aayla Secura would have been killed. I was so excited to see him in episode 3 but what a disappointment, he twizzled his trophies around and was dealt with in the most boring and lazy way possible. So much for the Jedi killer. Anyone else find him to be a huge let down?

A: he was creepy. I mean he was trying to be something he wasn't...half alien/robot with four arms. Especially when he crawled on all fours, that was weird.
B: he seemed too easy to kill. Sure, obi-wan put up a fight for a bit but when all he had to do was pull open his chest plate then shoot him in the heart...Too easy.

Remember that before the fight, and toward the end of the Clone Wars series, Mace Windu engaged Grievous and began using the force to crush him. This is why he constantly coughs throughout ROTS. By the time Obi Wan faces him (bearing in mind that Obi Wan himself had to this point dispatched one Sith Lord already [Maul] and held his own against Dooku, Greivous' light-saber trainer), Grievous is already injured and in need of repair/medical attention. Obi Wan was extremely resourceful.
