Gorsuch is not as conservative as you think. and real deal conservative, as in laissez faire, would be just as much against tax breaks and pro-corporate legislation, as it would be anti-welfare and anti-regulation. Laissez faire means essentially "hands off' or "leave it alone," and that works in both directions.

The ruling was 9-0. The exceptions were a compromise. It's amazing what happens with cooperation. :)
