What is a better way of saying "Did you pull support?" I'm not sure I like to use "pull" in that sentence.?

    It depends, because in your sentence, 'pull' can mean two different and opposite things.

    "You pulled support from that candidate" means you no longer support the candidate. That's LESS support.

    "You pulled support for your candidate from a new group" means you gained MORE support.

    To me, an older Briton, the use of "pull" with "support" looks very strange.

    "Did you get support?" or "Did you have any support?" would be my natural ways. Americans etc might have different ideas.
