Should I tell my boyfriend? PLS HELP?

My boyfriend and I have a pretty open relationship (as in we tell eachother alot and almost anything, we were friends for a while before dating). Should I tell him if another guy confessed his feelings for me?

I dont want him to think I'm trying to make him jealous...

Please help, this is bugging me.

I have tried to make him jealous in the past and he has tried to make me jealous but this is honestly something that is eating away at me.

    Why would you tell him if you aren't trying to make him jealous? If you care for him, keep your mouth shut.
