Can I sue if a company files chapter 11 bankruptcy?

My employer filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and I had a discrimination case against them? What happens?

You get in line behind everyone else. And if the company runs out of money before you get paid.you won't see a dime!

You get in line behind all the other creditors.

AND as you have not won your lawsuit, you may be out of luck as you are now suing a non-entity.

You file a claim in the Chapter 11 and if it is rejected you can file an adversary action. You can't continue your state court action without permission of Bankruptcy Court.

Legally, the bankruptcy has NO impact on your lawsuit.

Practically, it indicates there isn't all that much to take, even if you win.
