How do I reset my keyboard?
I have a windows 8 computer and I hit the F2, F3, etc buttons a few times and now my keyboard is messed. The 'down' button now sometimes deletes stuff, the 'backspace' button now sometimes goes left, the shift key types the '-' symbol sometimes. The regular alphanumeric buttons all work fine, its all of the other buttons that are messed up.
How can I undo the change?
Or how can I reset my keyboard?

Most laptops don't have a separate number pad, but have a way you can use the keyboard as a number pad. That's what you did, and why the keys are typing different things than what they say they are.
Unfortunately the exact way you switch the keyboard between modes is different for every laptop.
Normally, one of the function keys will do it when hit while the [fn] key (lower left corner) is held down.
For instance on my laptop [fn] + [F1] or [F2] will adjust the brightness of the screen. You'll have to look at the manual that came with your laptop to find out what your F keys do when combined with the [fn] key.
