Atheists, why don't you realize that your position takes more work?

As we True Theists™ know, atheists are obligated to disprove every single religion. On the other hand, theists of different religions usually don't ask each other for proof. (We totally didn't sign a secret treaty in Atlantis over it.) Worse yet, your

work will pile up because people will just invent new religions. Therefore, wouldn't it be easier for you to just give up and join a religion to free yourself of the True Burden of Proof™?

Update:

BTW, I'm inventing a new religion for each member of the powerset of the set of real numbers. That's a cardinality of Beth 2. Have fun disproving them all! *Evil laugh*

    Wrong, I am afraid.

There is a generic solution that says no deities can be proved to exist - look at the science involved.

Religious believers have, on the other hand, to prove that all belief systems other than theirs (Islam, Buddhism, Christianity etc) are false, and then there are the internal rifts (Protestant/Catholic, Sunni/Shia, Mahayana/Theravada etc) and only their denomination is correct.

If I point out to you that I am descended from Vikings and as their tradition was to worship Odin and Thor, could you prove to me that Christ (or Allah or Lord Brahma) exists and Odin and Thor don't? I doubt whether you can.

No one is obligated to prove or disprove anything.

First, that's no reason to think unreal things are real.

Second, no I don't have to disprove anything, moron.

It takes work I guess trying to convince people that they're wrong to believe in something with no proof, one of thousands of gods or religions that are all different but claiming to be the only true faith. I don't get why people can't just understand that they as believers in the supernatural, a word which by definition means seems not to exist in the natural world, are the ones who are making a ridiculous claim, one of thousands, which all can't be right, so the chances of them being right are pretty much close to nil in my opinion.

It's easy to become an atheist because all it takes is confusion or lack of comprehension, and what motivates people to become atheists is the idea of being able to do whatever the flesh desires without worrying about a consequence in the afterlife. If this world were full of atheists, you would witness more murder and rape.
