What is a self defeating personality disorder and how many people have it.?

Basically its a personality disorder which makes a person sabotage themselves. They intentionally mess things up, or are always late, or make easily avoidable mistakes which in some way harm their own lives.

Its worth noting that Self Defeating Personality Disorder is NOT an accepted medical condition. It was proposed and discussed for a time, but never formally accepted and included in any medical journal as a serious diagnosis because it was frankly too vague to actually mean anything on its on, and what it describes are not one disorder, but symptomd of other problems.

As a result there are no numbers on "who has it", because its not used for proper diagnoses.
