What happens when you sue someone after "accidentally" transferring them money?
It's illegal if a person accidentally transfers money to another person's bank account, and the receiver spends that money. Then could a person "accidentally" transfer a money to another person and then sue that receiver after they've spent that money? How would a person get out of that situation? Just out of curiosity...

what's illegal about it? people give gifts to others, even folk they don't know, all the time. don't think the suit would win in court.

Not an accident, you have to have the banks name, the banks routing number, the persons account numbers, as well as the name of the person you are transferring it to
Impossible for what you said to happen

Nobody accidentally does that, sorry.
If a BANK accidentally put money into the wrong account they fix the issue as soon as they're notified of it.
If an individual did it, you're out the money. One assumes you knew what you were doing when you did it.

The silly fool who accepted this money and spent it just has to pay the money back, That is what suing is all about. Trying to make things right.....usually with money.

Too many steps for it to be "accidental" which is why banks are set up the way they are - they're smarter than you are, you see. No getting out of it.
