Vegan BBQ ideas?

I have a BBQ sauce and a vegan equivalent of it. I m going to bottle them and sell it at the local farmers market. My plan is to have 2 grills going and serve chicken on one. If people like my BBQ sauce I ll try to sell them a bottle.

Any ideas of what I can serve on the vegan grill? According to most people who have tasted my vegan sauce, it has an almost identical taste to the meat one.

I think you're mis-categorizing your market. You should consider that you are selling healthy, organic BBQ sauce that's appropriate for vegans. I"d present it on grilled chicken breast or marinated tofu, customer's pick. Many people beyond the vegan community are looking for "clean", wholesome foods, and that market includes the health conscious along with vegans and vegetarians.

Marketing is not about who you are, but about what population segments your product appeals to. Don't limit yourself when you define your market.

Yah, carrots slathered in vegan bbq sauce sure sounds better than a salt&peppered rib-eye. NOT.

Veggie kebabs are a good idea. but i don't want mine with bbq sauces. might be an opportunity for you to expand. there are lots of good sauces for kebabs: balsamic, mustard, peanut...

Grilled mushrooms are pretty good with bbq sauce.

Grilled portobello mushrooms are bestsellers with a light dressing.

Most of the common BBQ sauces are vegan, honey is about the only ingredient that would prevent them from being vegan. No big deal in the long run I like molasses better than honey in BBQ sauce anyway.

    Corn on the cob

    Zucchini

    Egg plant strips think satay)

    Cooked radishes
