Metaformin?

Update:

My Doctor prescribed me with metaformin to help with weight loss. I took my first one last night and found its really made me feel ill. I woke up in the middle of the night and was stuck on the toilet!

Is that normal?

    Yes. My gut wrenched for 2 whole weeks when i started on metformin. My dr. said it was to be expected.

    Metformin is used to control Type 2 diabetes.

    You assume the metformin caused your illness. That's highly unlikely, but talk to your doctor again.
