1999 Saab 9 3 turbo. There was water in the oil then there wasn't and looked ok?
The oil looked like a milk shake. Then later on buddy looked at it and the oil looked normal. Car sat during winter. When I last drove it the oil was ok except for small milk like spot. Could the turbo seal; be leaking?

Since the car sat for a long period of time, the water separated from the oil and was in the bottom of the oil pan until it is mixed again. That's why the oil was milky one time and clear the next.

That usually is an indication of a bad head gasket allowing coolant to mix with the oil. Is it smoking a lot out of the tailpipe?

Hi so it is truly amazing what some expect from 18 years old cars. designed to last just 10 years.

First off. I am not a mechanic, so don't read this and jump to conclusions.
A milky spot and/or water in the oil sound like a head gasket. Antifreeze can leak through a poor gasket.
It could seep thru the gasket from sitting all winter without running I suppose....
Could be water sitting somewhere and finding a way down through the top of the motor (not likely, lol)
I would check the engine for any visible leaks around the head gasket, I'm assuming you don't have white smoke coming out of you exhaust? Maybe just a little puff on start up? check the coolent and oil make sure it doesn't show up again.
I would say, if it only was there after the car sat for awhile and isn't there now it's fine. Just keep an eye on the oil. Or take it to a trusted mechanic and have them look it over.
Goodluck
