It's wasting because that's $50 to buy whatever you want on iTunes or the App Store.

The amount of the giftcard Is the amount of how much It costs to buy. You just wasted someone's money. $50 Is not that small of an amount. You could have at least gave It to someone else.

It is wasting fifty dollars, that is why.

You tosed away $50 in value and don't see how it is wasting your parents' friend 's money? You are far too self-absorbed to understand any conceiveable explanation.

They payed $50 for the card... you threw it away, meaning it goes unused. If you didn't want to use it you could have given it back, or passed it on to someone who could use it.

You essentially got $50 from these people and tossed it in the garbage.

You wasted your parents friend's money, if you did not want it why did'nt you just give to someone who could use it? it was nasty to throw it away.

Because when purchasing, the person who buys the card actually pay that much plus tax. Cards aren't just free money with set amounts. $50 was actually used to purchase it.

Would you burn a $50 bill? It's really not rocket surgery...
