How can I permanently delete the audio folder of windows7? uninstall from Device manager doesn't work, it just reinstalls itself on restart!?

Perhaps if you would tell me why you want to permanently delete the audio folder I can tell you what to do to accomplish about the same thing . Why do you want to delete the audio folder do you want to get rid of sound permanently or are you trying to prevent children from making downloads let me know and I'll tell you what to do

just mute the sound. that's what I do. even when I restart, I don't hear the Windows tune. that sound is built into the O/S. you can't delete it.
