What fees are included when getting a oil change?

I'm getting my oil, change for the first time for my car and saw a coupon for $22.95 oil change and on the bottom it says fees not included. I know there is a disposal fee and labor fee but how much do they usually cost?

Most places change the oil and filter for the stated price. The "fees" might be for if your motor takes more than 5 quarts of oil or you use synthetic motor oil. Ask them when you get there.

You pay the coupon price but they just want to tell you a dozen other things are wrong with your car that cost a barrel of money to fix. Often it's a big lie.

Call them and ask them. We have no clue where you live. The fees aren't the same everywhere.

If they can't tell the price of an oil change go somewhere else as they have to get rid of the oil anyway shouldn't it be in the price? They sound shifty too me

Ask the shop. If they aren t willing to be honest about what they ll charge for something you can do in your driveway with a basic socket wrench set and a half hour of time, find a different shop.
