The fact of the matter, it took the Lord Jesus Christ 6 days to create the heaven and the earth. That is what the parable of the Wedding of Cana is about the 6 stone jars are the 6 days of creation, that it took the Lord Jesus Christ to create the heaven and the earth by speaking. The water in the 6 stone jars, is the gospel that is to be sent out throughout the entire world, so that some might become saved, through God Holy Word the Bible only. The wine in the 6 stone jars is the new and everlasting covenant of God Holy Word the Bible only.

Billions of years. The universe is 13.8 billion years old, and the earth is 4.6 billion. God transcends time, so He sees all of time at the same time, and He doesn't get bored(He's been around forever anyway). God enjoys the process of creating. The Genesis creation days were long periods of time, not 24hr days. The Hebrew word for day is yom, which has 4 literal definitions, including a long period of time. Likewise, the Hebrew words for evening and morning can also mean "completion" and "beginning". So there is no reason to assume the creation days were 24hr days. Now, that being said, I do not believe that life evolved, but rather than God created life exactly as described in Genesis. http://www.reasons.org/

As there is no evidence at all for any of the many thousands of gods there is no evidence that any god created the heavens and the earth. The universe is still being created with new stars forming and old ones exploding. It has taken 13.81 billion years so far for the universe to get to this stage. The Earth is younger than the universe, it formed with the rest of the solar system from a rotating disc of gas and dust, the remains of a supernova, about 4.6 billion years ago. so 13.81 billion years for the heavens and 4.6 billion for the earth.
