is it worth buying a slightly better gpu?
I have a gpu which is apparently from 2013. I've been eyeing a cheap(~$110) gpu that is rated slightly higher.
my current GPU still works and probably will for some time.
is there any noticeable benefits to buying a new gpu?
if the architectural changes during that time span matter, please mention it.

Depending on your current gpu, you'll have better driver support which means still noticeable performance increase in games and also better power efficiency. Honestly, older gpus are even worse than crappy psus than newer ones but I'd still get a new psu anyway just to be safe

It really depends, if you have a powerful power supply you could probably get a new one that is really powerful. If you have a low-power power supply, dont upgrade as it can burn out your power supply and it could be a possible fire hazard.
