Trying to hard-reset Android tablet RCA Voyager 7?
I have an RCA Voyager 7 Android tablet which on startup shows the RCA screen with the two dogs and then goes to the screen with just "RCA" with light continuously moving across it. Then it stays there.
I'm trying to do a hard reset. With the unit off, I'm holding volume up and power buttons down, then releasing the power button when the RCA startup screen with the two dogs appears. But it does the same thing -- it goes to the screen that just says RCA with light going across it, and stays there.
Any suggestions?

As far as I know you're supposed to hold the volume down button and the power button until you see a little green Android and do not release it until you see that you're obviously releasing the buttons before you see the little green Android with his belly open and a gear spinning around
