I can't stop feeling depressed. What do I do?
So a few months ago I was diagnosed with depression. Since i developed this I've found it incredibly difficult to focus, get motivated and generally do anything. I have considered suicide many times and attempted once. After that my parents took me to the doctor and I was diagnosed. I was told to get CBT but the NHS waiting list is so long that I am trying to get it through a university research programme. I hate the therapy but can't see any other options. I went on holiday for a month without my family and it was an amazing feeling to be free of all the worry and low feelings at home. Since I came back everything has been worse than ever. I think I flunked my exams last year and I am planning on killing myself if I fail because of the humiliation. I feel unable to communicate with anyone and generally hate human interaction. I need help but don't know what to do.

I had minor depression for a few months. On those times, I wished to be better. I researched recovery accounts on social media and got inspired by people like me. Listen to motivating songs or anything that used to make you happy. I know it seems cliché but there are hotlines and help. Don't you wish to know that you could have beat this? If something happened, you'd never know if you would have lived your dream life tomorrow you could meet your soulmate. Next week you could become rich. You never know so it's worth it. Try this. Try to live one day without depression. I know it's hard but just one day of freedom. When you were on holiday it was probably amazing. Keep those days to inspire you. They will come again if you allow them to. I truly get you and o truly say after months of sadness, I got better. I truly hope you feel better. I know it's possible
