I usually take a small slice off the bottom and top, then core them while leaving them intact. Sprinkle with lemon juice, brown sugar mixed with cinnamon and add a dot of butter on top before covering and baking. I also usually add a little apple juice or cider to the pan before baking.

I like to core them, then fill the center with pecans or walnuts, a drizzle of maple syrup and some rapsberry jam. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

Put them in the oven at 400 for 30 min.
