Why is my Mac laptop always buffering? It's become so slow now.?

    Use the Utility Activity Monitor to see what is buffering your system.

    RAM - if you don't have enough, it then uses the hard drive which really slows you down.

    Hard Drive - if your drive is getting full, it slows you down. Make sure you have room!

    Get a SSD if you can, MUCH better!

    I have 8gb and it's barely enough. I suggest 12-16gb or more if you do heavy editing, video, etc.
