What's so special about Lonzo Ball's shoes?

Those ZO2 shoes so infamously marketed by Lavar Ball? Are they an unfair advantage for players allowing for extreme propulsion for dunking or some sort of speed boost? Thanks.

They cost $500!!!!! That's whats special about them. And they're Big Baller Brand, so you know they're... uhmmmm... crazy overpriced?

LaVar Ball was quoted as saying "A shoe is not that big of a deal. It’s two things, stitching and glue. It isn’t a science project.” Which probably comes as news to all of the scientists who work for Nike and Adidas and UA designing shoes and materials. Lonzos shoes are not meant to actually be worn while you play basketball. You're probably twist an ankle inside of five minutes. They're meant to be put up on a shelf and admired, so you can show your friends that you have more money then sense.

Nothing, they're just expensive, if they gave an unfair advantage, they wouldn't be allowed to be used in basketball games
