Guy I m seeing doesn t use my name when we talk!! Why?

So, I play in a basketball team in the gym and there s this guy from my team that I ve been talking to for like 3 weeks. He seems to really like me but one thing really frustrates me is that he doesn t use my name when we talk. I told him that my name is a part of me and I d like to be addressed by name. I told him my name is a part of me, of who I am and it makes me feel important and respected. He apologized and said he s sorry but continued doing the same thing. It really makes me mad. What do I do? Why he resist to that? I use his name when we talk. He seems to really like me, but this thing keeps bothering me. Pls advice!
