Global warming.?

Why not just pay a extra fee for all co2 realesed in the atmosphere. So for example: It will cost money to throw away stuff, that money can literally be used to pay people carry your trash around instead of using trucks and stuff. And you pay like a small fee for gas and stuff wich is used too pick up the amount of co2 you release when driving, and this goes on and on... I mean honestly, it's pretty simple. Why can't they do something like this?

That's called a carbon tax and in most of the world it exists in one form or another.

A lot of people are sceptics for the very reason "carbon taxes" exist. They see governments just using it as an excuse to raise taxes pretending it is for the benefit of the planet.

Why? Because many people would rather deny the problem exists that to pay any extra in taxes.

These same people happily will spend trillions of dollars on our money starting unwinnable wars and perpetuating them for decades.

Many places, including where I live in British Columbia, Canada, already have a "carbon tax" in place. Here in B.C. the tax is "revenue neutral" meaning that we collect tax from polluters and then immediately spend that money on public infrastructure (at least that's the way it is supposed to work).
