I would like to wire 1968 factory 8 track to 12v battery so i can repair/troubleshoot.?
What wires do I connect where? Where do I hook battery +/- and where do I test speaker?
I understand the 2 prong is 12 volt and dial lamp (face light) and the three prong is right/left and common. How would I wire this with speaker to troubleshoot?

I agree with jetdoc, your telling us what you want to do. So what is the question?
Obviously red + black -. It's all common sense

Typical Ford.
Use alligator-clip test leads to connect it on the bench.
Insert one jaw of the appropriate clip to make contact with each socket.
The black / blue wire is for the dial light.
It has a .156" bullet connector,
the common size used for decades in the car stereo industry.
All of the others are the larger common size, around .180".
Common trailer-wiring and similar connectors that will mate with the speaker plug
are available at RV, automotive, and electronic parts stores.
If you want to match colours, use coloured heat shrink tubing.
If you don't know the rest, get help from a local expert.
