    唐敖 Since the name is already Kanji, it is not translated in the Japanese language, but left as-is. The source is the Chinese and Japanese versions of the Wikipedia page on the novel.

    However, I have no idea how to pronounce the name in Japanese--with names there's really no way to know the default pronunciation, and alternate readings are rampant. 敖 (ao) also seems to be a character that is rarely used in Japanese. I would have to defer to a native speaker familiar with this novel on this (or name).
