Opinion on white people with dreads?

I think anyone should be able to have whatever hairstyle they want regardless of their ethnicity. However I don't personally find dreads attractive on anyone as they look unhygienic but my dad used to have dreads and he assured me that they are hygienic. Anyway I think the important thing is that people should have freedom to represent themselves however they like through their appearance

No. My hair wouldn't get dreads even if I didn't wash or brush it.

I can't help think there are a lot of bugs living in a dread lock.

I think dreads look terrible on everyone. I can understand why it's so popular in certain African cultures - because African hair can be hard to manage so it was an easy low maintenance hairstyle. But there's no reason for European hair to be made into dreads. European hair is soft and naturally beautiful and doesn't need to be knotted up like that.

Should white people be banned from it because it's cultural appropriation? No, that's ridiculous. Every race should feel comfortable dressing however they want.

Not only is it Wrong White people's hair is not suited for dreads their hair doesn't dread. Those are mats.

Everything has some type of cultural background and yet no one complains about half of those things. It's turned into just a hair style.

I'm old and balding. I am jealous of anyone that has hair. For that reason, I say do as they damn well want. Me? It looks like it hurts, so it's not for me. Race issue? Are you f'n kidding me?
