Do the Red Sox play better in rainy/wet conditions?

With analysts claiming that the Boston Red Sox have the best base running in the league, would that mean they're more likely to play better on a wet field that's conducive to sliding, regardless of being at home or on the road? Thanks.

No, sloppy conditions don't make for good baserunning.

I don't know what analysts you're referring to. While the Red Sox' may be one of the most aggressive baserunning teams, they also make more outs on the base paths than any other team in MLB. They take a lot of extra bases, and steal a lot more than is usual for them, but they also make a lot of silly outs doing it.

The Red Sox get soggy in rainy/wet conditions.
