Whats wrong at the Vatican?

By not complying with existing scripture, the Pope and the whole RCC have alienated themselves from Jehovah.

(Exodus 20:4, 5) “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me,

The Roman catholic church seems to becoming less and less irrelevant in the christian world. I don't know if something big is about to happen in regards to the pope and the catholic church.

Don't expect a protestant reformation type revolution to happen to them anytime in the hear future.

Since the reformation many end -time teachers and preachers particularly in the last 100 years have identified the pope and the catholic church as the great false religious system called Mystery Babylon (Rev 17:11) which will rule this world under the control of the anti-Christ.

Personally I believe these people are way off the mark with this teaching. The pope and the catholic church may well not even exist in the future when the end-times begin. Also it's possible future Mystery Babylon could well be a nation in the middle east not the vatican in Rome !

Wouldn't it really be good news to hear of the catholic church changing their doctrine and teaching salvation by grace through faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection for our sins WITHOUT their dogma beliefs such as the papacy/ church authority over it's people ?

I was about to say I just saw him on TV yesterday, but then I remembered that was just a scene on the TV show Preacher and wasn't actually the real Pope--obviously not since he was announcing to the world that God had abandoned everybody and so the world was going to have to figure out what to do without him.

Not sure what you are talking about, the Pope says daily mass at the Vatican (because he is a priest)
