I have an early Microsoft Surface, several years old.?
The touch screen operation is failing and it does not improve with a restart. As of now I get no response at all when touching the screen. I have a wireless mouse so I can still do a lot of things but can't type anything, don't have a keyboard.

Is this a software problem or is it worn out?
