Is it possible to immigrate to the UK permanently for work ?

Question

So i'vemet this project manager working for jaguar and land rover and he wants to employ me,problem is he's german and he lives in Germany so how in the world is he going to get me to Britain when he's german,either way is it possible to immigrate to Germany for work even though I don't speak german

Are you an EU national?If so then you can work in the UK, certainly up to March 2019, after then is yet to be decided. If not then 'meeting' a project manager is not the same as applying for a specialist  job that has been advertised EU wide and NO ONE can be found highly skilled and advanced educated to do that job and that has to be proved, so the company who is registered with immigration can sponsor and apply for a work visa...but work visas are non immigration, generally a contract is offered for 2- 3 yrs and once your contract ends you return home......... so if you have 'met' this person online and they claim to be a 'project manager for Jaguar/Land Rover' be wary as project managers do not employ staff nor do they arrange work visas
